Your cooperative has joined with many others in the country to bring their members the benefits associated with the Co-op Connections card. This card brings together hundreds of discounts from merchants and service providers from all over the country. How about an example? Okay, let's say you have access to rental car discounts through one company, hotel discounts through another and so on. Chances are strong that these discounts are also available with the Co-op Connections card. The value of the Co-op Connections card is that they are collected into one website where you can peruse them to you heart's content.
Let's jump in. You'll receive a card and you can use that as you travel and shop. Wherever the discount is offered, you can access it - in New Jersey and the other 49 States. One card does it all for you. Think of it as a wallet / purse diet plan by letting you leave a lot of other cards at home.
To see what discounts are being offered, navigate to connections.coop and browse away. As I said , there are several hundred offers on the site in categories such as Automotive Services, Dining, Health & Fitness, Entertainment and more - twelve categories in total plus a section for coupons and another for the pharmacy discount (more on that later). Find an offer of interest and follow the instructions, it is that easy.
The Pharmacy benefit is the most popular in other cooperatives. This program offers card holders discounts ranging from 10 - 60% and is honored at more than 60,000 pharmacies in national (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target), regional and local chains. When you process your prescription, present the card and watch your savings mount. THIS IS NOT INSURANCE or a substitute for it but when you do not have a prescription plan or a drug is not covered, this program may be the answer.
