Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative is a unique organization in the fact that it's elected Board of Directors are actual members of the cooperative. Each board member serves a three year term and is elected at the cooperative's annual meeting.

Our Bylaws permit any co-op member to submit their petition to the Nominating Committee by a specified date which is published in the co-op's newsletter, "Currents".
