YOUR child or grandchild's art can be featured on Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative's 2025 holiday card!
In the lead up to the 2025 holiday season, Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative welcomes children and grandchildren of its members to design Christmas/Holiday themed artwork. In this contest, the winning piece of artwork selected by a group of Sussex REC will be featured on the SREC 2025 Holiday Card, mailed to friends and associates of the Cooperative. First, second, and third place winners also receive prizes of Amazon gift cards!
Our submission period for this contest ends on Monday, November 3rd! If your child or grandchild would like to participate, please fill out our Contest Release Form and include it alongside their artwork by mail to:

Contest Details:
- Theme: Christmas or Holiday
- Open to students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade
- Students must be children or grandchildren of SREC members (artist may live outside of service territory, but they must be associated with a member account number and provide name of member and relation)
- Artwork must be no larger than 8-1/2” x 11” in size - please do not fold artwork
- Artwork must be an original creation of the child
- Artwork should be in color (crayon, watercolor, paint, etc.)
- PRIZES are offered to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place (see below)
- Artwork and contest form must be sent to Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative by Monday, November 3rd

After review by a committee of co-op employees, the winners of this contest will be announced on Friday, November 7th via this website and our Facebook and Twitter/X pages.
1st Place:
- Art used on front cover of 2025 SREC Holiday Card
- 30 printed cards & envelopes for mailing to family & friends
- $25 Amazon Gift Card
- Student artwork featured on the website & on social media
2nd Place:
- $20 Amazon Gift Card
- Student artwork featured on the website & social media
3rd Place:
- $15 Amazon Gift Card
- Student artwork featured on the website & on social media

Prizes: Rose's artwork will be featured on our 2024 holiday card. Her family will receive 30 copies of the card with envelopes they can use to send them to family and friends this holiday season. Rose will also receive a $25 Amazon gift card!
